Beautiful hotel! Rooms are very modern and new, very clean. The view is gorgeous! Love the big balcony doors that slide almost the whole wall of windows open. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning works well. Very hot water with good water pressure. You are provided with beach towels, and have access to a set of beach chairs/umbrella every day. Staff is very friendly. Rooms overlook a restaurant which you can hear if your balcony door is open but they close at 10 so very peaceful at night with just the waves! No parking at the hotel but there are spots everywhere close by in town that are free. No breakfast but a cafe is right there and there is a medium size fridge you can easily store items in and a little coffee machine/tea kettle. Would return in a heartbeat to this gorgeous spot!

Our stay at Villamar was the perfect ending to our first trip to Portugal. The beautifully simple beachfront rental has stunning views, quiet, walkable village to enjoy and some lovely local dining nearby. Salema was the perfect respite to the busier beach towns and was situated conveniently along the coast which let us explore the neighboring towns easily.

Beautiful new hotel right on the beach front of Salema. Brand new, clean rooms with a kitchenette. We loved the terrace, but next time we would try to stay on the top floor a little more removed from the restaurant below. The managers were friendly, welcoming and very relaxed. An included breakfast would have been a nice amenity, but there several cafes around
