The Lighthouse Hostel Sagres

I've been in this Hostel several times over the past few years and it's always improving. 10/10!!! First of all it's a beautiful Hostel in general (especially the common areas). The rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfy with your own little light, power plug and towel, aswell as big lockers to store your luggage in. The kitchen is well equipped and well organized. There's always room in the fridge, even in high season. The cleaning staff is doing an exceptional job! The bathrooms and everything else is always super clean. There are some nice hostel events that happen over the week like pizza night or burger night and there's free yoga on the rooftop(with Chaz--amazing!). On top of all of that comes the absolut amazing staff behind the reception. Big shoutout to Gloria, Marco aka Mario Luigi , Artur and Nico for going above and beyond to make the stay as perfect as possible. Also big thanks to the amazing volunteers which give the hostel a super welcoming vibe! All in all, one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Will for sure be back again :) Thanks guys!!!!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Definitively gonna book myself in again, when I’m in Portugal. I had a few questions before and they responded to my mail in less than an hour. Free Yogaclasses and equipment was just another great thing. Thank you so much for the nice time.

So, where to begin… I’d say this was probably one of the most enjoyable holidays I’ve ever had. We felt so good there that we even extended our stay by a few extra nights. The management is very friendly and makes you feel like part of a family: thanks to Gloria, Marco, Nico, and everyone else for the warm welcome. I must say I spent some truly wonderful days. Even the architecture of the place, with its flowing lines, and the décor create an atmosphere that really encourages relaxation and making new friends. I’ll definitely be coming back.
