I love the little town of Vila Nova and the accommodation is in a convenient location. Parking is around the corner on the street. We had a spacious room with a nice bathroom and balcony. I just didn’t appreciate the wild bird they keep in the cage downstairs. Unfortunately, when we checked out, there was no one there I could’ve asked the reason why they keep it.

Wonderful little hotel with multiple choices of rooms and apartments, and it is right in the heart of the village. The rooms are all around an internal courtyard that makes you feel away from the rest of the tourists. We took a double room for just 1 night and it was comfortable with a private bathroom. There was air conditioning in the room. The staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent tips on where to eat away from the tourist traps. We had secure parking for our bikes. They have recycling containers available just off the courtyard, a big plus. Wish more hotels would do this.
