Lovely quiet site in the countryside and only a short walk into town and beach with great bars and restaurants. Hosts very friendly and priced just right at 12€ for a night without power, which is available if required. Washer and dryer also available at extra cost. Water a waste disposal free. Good shower and toilets. Plenty of level pitches available in February.

We spent two wonderful, peaceful days here. The campsite is surrounded by nature. The starry sky at night is fantastic. It's a beautiful starting point for hikes along the cliffs towards Luz and Lagos, or simply for cycling. The neighboring village of Burgau is also a small, sleepy village and not as crowded as other places in the Algarve. The campsite has everything you need: toilets and showers are available – simple but always clean! Washing machines and dryers are available if needed. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. Payment is €15 in cash, with electricity being an extra €5. Water and waste disposal facilities are available. We felt very safe here. The only potential drawback might be the red soil when it rains heavily, but we didn't experience that! We highly recommend this campsite.

Great campsite. Friendly manager. Great spots, even for large campers. Close to a charming village and beach. Local supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. We were here for 5 weeks. 👍🌞
