Didnt stay just food and drink. Twice in one week, had to go back as it was so good. Atmosphere is busy but great friendly vibe. Staff very helpful and friendly to everyone. Food outstanding. Definitely worth the money. Bookings very helpful and recommended.

Top dining experience on the mountain. Staff Wil trained. Food top-notch. The meat and cheese board Wil not disappoint. Always packed to make sure you get a reservation.

This was one of our favorite stops on the TMB. Setting: on Col Checrouit, with a stunning view of the Mont Blanc massif in one direction and the town of Courmayeur below in the other direction. Reception: Very friendly vibe, though busy in the afternoon as reception is serving lots of passers-by along with overnight guests. We could bring all of our gear to our bunks, which was very convenient. Hut shoes were available. Showers: There were several and they seemed hot! We didn't personally use them. Toilets: as mentioned by others, most of the toilets were Turkish style (squat), but we found them clean and usable. There was one regular toilet available if you knew where to look ;) Laundry: no machine laundry, but very nice handwashing setup, with soap, a deep two-tap sink, and ample drying lines in the sun. Food: If you can get here in time for lunch, do! The menu is incredible. There is also a full bar. Dinner was excellent, with spaghetti as primi and meat/veggies for secondi (the same meat/veg as we'd had the night before at Elisabetta, but significantly better quality at Maison Vielle). Breakfast was fantastic, especially by Italian standards ;) We had coffee/tea, bread and spreads, ham and cheese, muesli, and more. The very hospitable owner was greeting tables and bringing beverage refills himself. Rooms: The room was large, maybe 16 people or so. There were two entrances, which was nice to avoid congestion. The temperature and bedding were comfortable. We slept well! WiFi: Free and functional. Outlets: there were several in our room; we had no trouble taking turns with a few other guests.
