A magnificent spot, close to the Trient Glacier and opposite the Arpette Window. The ascent from the Col de la Forclaz takes 2 hours and 45 minutes. Crossing the stream is tricky; there's a footbridge, but the stream has carved out a new channel that must be forded.

Very nice place for an excursion to the Alps, the small refuges are very nice.

A very beautiful stone refuge belonging to the CAS des Diablerets, with a warm wooden interior, a quiet corner, an old sheepfold made entirely of stone, magnificent views and very close to the Trient glacier.
