We did not plan to stay here, but we were surprised by a thunder storm. Very nice lady at the reception, she helped us with hot water for our own food (the food offered at the place itself looked good but was a bit over our budget). Overall the price quality ratio of this hut is outstanding and the service is excellent.

4.5 stars. This place has a lot of charm, a very friendly atmosphere and efficient staff. The food is well prepared and high quality. We especially enjoyed a great value for money packed lunch. There's a nice terrace and comfortable resident's lounge. They didn't charge us for one bed as our friend was ill and didn't make it - very kind. A few things we found odd - there are no toilet seats and no soap is provided by the sinks. Also there's only one bin per floor in the stairwell (including for sanitary products). There are no charging sockets in the dorms, and yes the bathrooms are old. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend.

The staff was very friendly and the service was exceptional! Because of my nut allergy the crew made a different pic-nic lunch for me. Small gesture, but you feel seen! The breakfast was also very yummy, with loads of healthy options. Would definitely recommend staying here for a stop along the TMB!
