Pensão das Dunas

Amazingly located, paying tribute to its name. The walks to either of the two beaches are worth the trip in itself. The village’s wonderful eateries are also but a stone’s throw away. Lovely front yard with loads of benches and tables, kind of a youth-hostel feel, without the dorms but with the friendly talkative fellow travellers. Rooms are OK, mattresses squeaky and very hard, and staff a little bit on the colder side for the otherwise welcoming local standards.

A really lovely little guest house. Simple but comfortable accommodation with a lot of love and care. Friendly and welcoming hosts and a great breakfast. Very much recommended.

I spent one night here hiking the fishermens trail, and it was by far the nicest accommodation I had! The house and the rooms are beautiful, very colorful, lots of places to sit and relax on the outside. Super clean! Very comfy bed. You can buy drinks and snacks at the reception, which is a real game changer if you're hiking or cycling ;-) also there's a clothes line that gets sun and wind, so you don't have to hike on with semi dried stuff... Breakfast was wonderful, lots of varieties of cereal, seed, cheese, fresh orange juice... Staff is lovely, very friendly and helpful. I wish I could stay longer and just hike in circles around that place! Thanks for that wonderful stay!
