Within easy walking distance of the town. Well laid out camp site in pine trees. Some motorhome pitches have access to an electric supply. The showers and facilities were spotlessly clean. My only complaint is that the facilities are home to a colony of Mosquitos. It would be nice if there were UV fly traps to try to reduce the numbers. It must be even worse in warmer weather when they are active. Stayed a couple of days in January 26. Restaurant was closed. A short walk into town gives you plenty of options for eating. The camp and town are all geared towards surfing, so not much else of interest apart from the fort. I would think that the camp and town must be really busy in the high season.

We visited this campsite for the first time, and our experience was okay, not really what we expected. We stayed one night in July, and it cost us €40.30. This campsite had everything we needed: showers, toilets, a washroom, and water. It was quiet, so we had a good night's sleep. The only thing we did not enjoy was the location. There is absolutely nothing around unless you use a car or bike to get to the village or beach. Everything is too far to walk, and we only had one option. For that reason, we will not return to this campsite. You can hire surfboards, but I'm not sure how you are supposed to get them to the beach if you have a rooftop tent open or a motorhome set up. Also, there is a warning about foxes, but we only saw one at night running around, which is to be expected if you camp in nature. There is a little shop on site, but it has a very poor selection, and everything is very highly priced. This campsite is rooftop tent-friendly-ish. #travelwithtentbox

We stayed here for a few nights and had a calm camping experience inbetween pine trees. On the weekend, it got full with people wanting to surf but it was still quiet all day and night. The ground of the pitch was even, we didn't need to adjust the Van at all. The sanitary facilities were super clean and were cleaned multiple times a day. Best thing was the accessibility by bike. In less than 10 min we were at any beach or in the city centre of Sagres. There were lots of mosquitoes, so be aware.
