We stayed here in December 2025, in short: we liked it. Go here when you also prefer more down to earth and easy going places. It is a three star campsite, has all it takes. It could need some renovating of some of the facilities. But it you prefer less posh places. Go here. We will definitely come back

We recently stayed at this campsite for 2 weeks via Eurocamp, staying in one of their mobile homes. There were no Eurocamp reps onsite and the accommodation was cleaned (immaculately) and managed directly by the site staff. The site is small, with a well kept swimming pool, mini market and bar (very reasonably priced drinks) and restaurant with delicious (reasonably priced) food! We were greeted, checked in and looked after by 3 lovely reception staff, Lourdes, Adriele and Sergio, who went above and beyond to assist us with our complicated reservation, always with lovely smiles and patience! Remembering my name from the 1st encounter, which made me feel valued and not just another holidaymaker! EVERY member of staff from the groundsmen and cleaners to the bar and shop staff were incredibly lovely and friendly. The site is in a perfect location for getting out and about sightseeing, either walking, driving or the local bus outside. We were planning to visit Italy next year, however, Orbitur Valverde, the final part of a road trip around Portugal, was such a lovely finale to a truly fabulous Portuguese adventure, we have decided to postpone la Dolce Vita next year and return to explore Portugal again! Obrigada Orbitur Valverde! Looking forward to seeing you again! Eileen Campbell -x-

The staff and site it self was fine. Helpful staff and good facilities on-site to keep young children happy for a long weekend. The restaurant is the star. With great food and friendly staff. Now on to the negatives. When I booked it stated we would be in a 2-bed ‘bungalow’, upon arrival we were actually in a static caravan, a very small be to be accurate. The fridge kept over heating so I had to pull it out from under the work counter. There are not many sockets, so you need to plan ahead for any device l charging. The shower was extremely run down and in need of an overhaul. Whilst it was functional, it was just very ‘well’ used and needed updating. The mirror also needed replacing. Some of the windows had small gaps after closing and others were tricky to close. I would give this a two-star review, but I feel that may be a little too harsh, as the staff, swimming pool and restaurant take it up a notch. The question is would I come back to stay here? No, in this current state I would not stay here again. Overpriced for what it is. I would however visit the restaurant as the dishes were great and the staff very friendly.
