It hurts me to not give a third star to these amazingly friendly hosts and staff …but there are just too many small things that pull down the rating. Very damp room, hardly possible to heat up with the makeshift radiator (and I am *not* sensitive to cold) — the window could only open when using a lot of force, being afraid of actually breaking it — the toilet flush did not work so I had to fix it — taps were dripping. At least the TV has regular channels as opposed to the subscription-requiring Net stuff that many places have nowadays. And, again, staff is really super friendly!

Clean and comfortable guesthouse, good for a short stay. Location is convenient, right between town and beach. Reception staff is helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, same can’t be said about the staff serving at the attached restaurant. Tip to management: don’t employ people who so obviously hate their jobs. They really spoil an otherwise very pleasant experience.
