We stayed one week in apartment Terra. The room was exactly as on the photos. Very well equipped and decorated with love for detail. Everything was clean and the bed comfortable. We also liked the outside lounge (and cat Bobby 😻). From booking to check-out, staff were very reactive and helpful. The nearest village with a mini market and a few restaurants is only a 15 min walk away. Nice walks into the hills or along the coast also nearby. We recommend!

If you are looking for a restorative and home-like space to stay in the Carrapateira area, look no further! I stayed at the farm cottage for two weeks back in May, and I loved it so much. It was the perfect space for relaxing, doing yoga, cooking, reading, and having tea between adventuring in the area. The hosts and farm volunteers were all so friendly that I felt very welcomed there. And the daily visits from the resident cats and chickens were an added bonus! The cottage was very comfortable and functional, and the outdoor patio space was perfect for yoga and general outdoor relaxation. And there is so much to enjoy in the area! It is an easy walk to Carrapateira, or up into the hills across the street. And a short drive gets you to any other number of beautiful places. If I have the good fortune to be able to visit the area again, I will most certainly be staying here!

If you are looking for budget friendly lodging in one of the most beautiful areas of Portugal, this is your place especially if you like a little Bohemian vibe . Each small unit has its own character. Don’t expect spa or room service but the staff is young , fun and helpful. You can swing this without a car if you like to walk and there is a possibility to rent bikes from Klaus if they are not in use. About 15 minute walk to a beach that will blow your mind thru very mellow Bordeira . Stunning Praia with surf school and cafe open in summer and about the same walk to lovely Carapeteira with restaurants and small markets . The world famous Fisherman’s trail and other excellent hiking is very close also . We loved the private access and complimentary use of double kayaks on his adjacent farm to the coolest hidden waterway that leads to the Sahara-like dunes behind Bordeira beach . As if that isn’t enough the waterway is a prime stopover area for birds migrating from Africa .
