Lovely small hotel at a good location in Sagres and at a very affordable rate. While I would not regard it directly as a boutique hotel it is a clean crisp place, comfy rooms and I experienced a friendly service. Breakfast was abundant, typical hotel style though. I stayed one night at a (more expensive) B&B and one night here, I preferred this hotel. Recommended

The rooms are comfortable. Not overly fancy but well appointed with everything you need. Ours had a great view of the beach and ocean.

The worst place I ever been in my life, this place has nothing to resemble a boutique hotel, it’s more like a terrible hostel. The service is the worst I ever had in my life. An antipátic uneducated and rude receptionist Paulo, I really can’t believe they employ such a person. My check in was terrible he didn’t want to show me the room or help me with luggage, gave me wrong information, about local places. When I came back later to ask him something he didn’t get up and come to the reception he was in an inner room and didn’t care to come to the reception he expected me to scream to be heard. Really disgusting. When I came to check out and asked for help with my luggage since I am handicapped and can’t carry it by myself he said he doesn’t do it, I said that I need help, when he started talking in a rude way I decided to record him, so he said he will call the police!!! I told him to call, but I think he got scared since I called the police, and he asked an employee to help me. The room was really basic, the supposed to be nice garden room was of a wall. The curtain was torn. The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable. The breakfast was very basic and low quality, it is in a dark basement nothing to do with a boutique hotel. They expect you to cook your eggs by yourself!!! Really unbelievable. The only thing that was nice was that there was fresh orange juice. There is not enough parking for parking, really inconvenient. And on top of that all, the acústic is terrible you can hear the people from the top floor stepping inside your room, and when the main door is open you hear it slumming loudly, you hear the people in the hall . Simply a nightmare. No courtesy water or even toiletries. Do yourself a favor don’t bother coming , I will never be back!!! Defenetly no value for the money.
