I have never written a review like this before, but this experience was extremely disappointing and unfair. When we arrived at the hotel to escort our clients, one of the staff members immediately approached us in an aggressive manner, accusing us of parking in a designated area meant for others. At that moment, we had just arrived and had not parked at all. The Mercedes vehicle she kept accusing us of is the same vehicle we use to transport our clients for tours. Logically, it could not have already been parked elsewhere, as it had just arrived with the clients. Despite this, she continued to blame us, demanded two car plate numbers, and raised her voice in front of many guests in the lobby. This created an extremely embarrassing situation, especially as it happened in front of our clients. Even after we repeatedly and sincerely assured her to the point of swearing to God ,that we had just arrived, no proof was shown to support the accusations, and we were still treated as if we were at fault. Another team had earlier arrived with a different vehicle , a Volkswagen van solely to drop off luggage. They did not park, did not have a parking card, and left shortly after. There was clearly no reason for them to park. Being accused loudly and unfairly, without evidence, is highly unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this standard. This incident left us feeling disrespected and unfairly treated. I sincerely hope the management will take this matter seriously and improve staff training in handling situations professionally and respectfully.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful apartment hotel for three nights in late August, on a family vacation. It’s located within walking distance to the town, with the walking streets and all the restaurants and shops. It’s also near a beautiful park where paragliders land, it adds to the fun and lively atmosphere. The building is beautiful and well maintained, the apartments comfortably accommodate four people, and the balconies add very nice outdoor space. The area is green, quiet and dark at night, no disturbances for sleeping. The hotel also has an indoor heated pool, gym, kids playroom, and parking garage. The dining room is a bit small and gets crowded during breakfast The staff was friendly and professional and the atmosphere was pleasant. But I can’t rate it 5 stars because several things were not great: The refrigerator was off when we arrived but no one told us to turn it on, so the food we bought was not so happy. There was no password protected WiFi, which is needed sometimes. The kitchen was good and efficient, but there was no coffee, tea, sugar, oil, salt and pepper, not even napkins or paper towel. When people come for a week or more they can bring all that, but visitors for a short time would not buy large packages of the basic necessities in the overpriced supermarket in the city. It would be better for the hotel to provide and just leave them for the next guests. The European outlets don’t work with US plugs, you need to bring adapters. There’s also no night light, bring your own (with an outlet adapter). There are no towels by the pool, and again the receptionist did not tell us. So we went downstairs and had to go back to the room to get towels. The receptionist referred us to a local paragliding operator, who unfortunately only accepts cash. The banks were closed for the weekend, we had to walk far to two ATMs to withdraw over 500 Euros. I wish they operated that more professionally and accepted credit cards. Breakfast was good, fresh and tasty, the ladies who serve were excellent. But respectfully, it was not worth 14 Euros per person, especially for people who do not eat meat. The bed mattresses were a bit too firm, sleeping was not very comfortable. The air was dry and they did not provide lotion which is also needed to calm sunburn (again, you have to walk to a pharmacy in town, there’s hardly any parking) All of these things may be expected by European visitors, but not by Americans, and should be at least communicated clearly. Preferably in advance, when making the reservation, tell people what to expect. The price was 300 Euros a night, a bit high but fair value for the overall quality. Recommended !

The hotel is conveniently located near Chamonix center, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from, and within walking distance of the Brévent cable car. Each apartment has its own dedicated spot in the underground parking lot, which is very convenient. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment that was clean, comfortable, and offered a magnificent view from our balcony of the glaciers and paragliders landing nearby. The staff were all very kind and helpful, and the indoor pool was a great bonus. There’s also a washing and drying machine available, operated with tokens you can purchase from reception for €5. We even had a mid-stay cleaning service, which was very helpful. The only drawback was that one of the single beds in the living room was not very comfortable.
