Room was clean, the bed comfortable, and overall good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sauna and hot tub are nice and you book time slots and have it to yourself. Location was easy walk/ski to Savoy lift which gets you to the gondola for Brevent. It’s a 5 min walk (10 in ski boots) to main town area with restaurants and Place du Mont Blanc where you catch buses to the other ski areas.

We love La Sapinière! After we had such an amazing first stay last winter, our family (from the UK and US) decided to return again this year for another marvelous holiday! We would never even consider staying anywhere else in Chamonix. This family-owned boutique hotel is such a special place - from the staff consistently going above and beyond to make us comfortable, to the cosy mountain decor, to the incredibly convenient and beautiful location… we had another 5-star experience. Another real highlight was the live acoustic set (and surprise saxophone!) in the bar on Friday evening- so fun! Thank you so much to Mandy, Ellika, Gabriel, Declan and the rest of the team - can’t wait for the next reunion!

This place is a real hidden gem of Chamonix: stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, and still almost in the center — with ski-in/ski-out (!!). The staff is warm, professional, and you can tell it’s family-run in the best way: they truly take care of their guests. Don’t come expecting modern luxury; come for a 90-year-old building with character, history, and authentic Chamonix charm. Being run by the Cachat family for four generations really shows in the small detalis and atmosphere. I hope to be back soon.
