Hôtel Mont-Lac & restaurant Mimi's Lounge

Had the pleasure of dining at Mimi’s Lounge during UTMB weekend, and despite how busy it was with an influx of visitors from the race weekend, the whole family was all hands on deck making everything run seamlessly. We were a group of six, and they kindly seated us in a cozy & quiet corner room that felt like the perfect warm escape from the cold outside. The service was unbelievably friendly and fast, and the food… WOW. Truly the best lasagna I’ve ever had, and the desserts looked like they belonged in a cookbook—absolutely beautiful and just as delicious. We never felt rushed, only welcomed. It was such an authentic, memorable experience and one of the highlights of our weekend that we keep talking about. Thank you to the entire Mimi’s family for creating such a safe, inviting, and delicious place to gather while waiting for our runner. Highly recommend!

This was the best place we stayed on the TMB. The owners were so friendly. The food was fantastic. If you get the chance, please order the lasagna, it was life changing. We had a two bedroom with a living room and a large balcony overlooking the lake. It's a great location for going out on the lake or walking around town. Would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed one night here while doing the Haute Route, gorgeous hotel facing the lake, the manager was just superb to deal with. Even though the UTMB event was on that day so Champex was rammed with people, he was so welcoming and generous with his time on check in. My partner became ill overnight while we were there, again he could not have been more helpful- researching what pharmacies were open on a Sunday, and sending camomile tea and a croissant to our room for him, which he refused to accept payment for. I could not recommend this place more highly.
