Hotel Luz Bay

There are some other reviews on here that I could easily copy and paste. The descriptions are spot on. Bottom line… this is not even close to a 4* hotel. The room is spacious, but in desperate need of an upgrade. The sofa is stained and not usable. The plastic table and chairs are better for the patio. The safe is broken. There are nails and wood protruding around the wardrobe. There are 3 hangers, all of which look like they’ve been left by other guests. I could go on about the curtains halfway off, or the wall blistering from water damage, but I think you get the point. Since we’re only staying for one night (maybe these rooms are where they put the one-nighters?), we were able to manage. At least the bed was comfortable and appeared to be a new mattress. For those staying for two weeks, I hope your room is better

I didnt stay in the complex, i had access to pool facilities. The pool was really nice with adult only pool separate from family and kids area, which was nice and quiet. No pool bar available. The pool toilets were not maintained very well, but in the main hotel reception they were much cleaner. Ample towels available which were a good size and soft.

We've been coming to this hotel for 4 years and have no complaints. Everyone there is lovely, friendly and helpful- feels like home away from home. The breakfasts are great and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The gardens and pools are so well kept. Brilliant hotel 10/10.
