Hotel Âncora Park - SunPlace Hotels & Resorts

Having read multiple reviews about this hotel, our expectations were reasonably high. The location and hotel itself with its facilities were great: large nice pool, decent restraunt and a bar within the hotel, good cafes within walking distance. Beach was not too far, which was useful as we spent most time there. However, hotel service was disappointing. When making a booking we specifically asked for a room on the 2nd floor or above, but upon checking in the manager at the reception causely informed us that we would be placed on the ground floor room. When we asked why our request could not be accommodated, he said no places left on other floors and did not even apologize or made an attampt to do anything about it. Secondly, the room we were given was small - not like the one we saw on pictures when making reservation. Everything was in one room, with very little space for anything. Service at bar finally was a bit disorganized though barmen did try to wait on us properly, which we appreciated. Overall, while the hotel is decent its service needs improvement!

Warm, impeccable, and professional service. The hotel is clean, welcoming, and very well located. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, and having parking right in front makes it very convenient. You feel truly welcomed from the moment you arrive. A great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended. ⭐️

First visit to Lagos stayed at Âncora Park in the private villas and it was absolutely gorgeous! You have a personal driveway in each villa which is a great convenience since we travelled by car and at night the private rooftop is a nice spot to wind down, the pool was huge! The dinner buffet was nice as well. Very friendly staff.
