Hortas do Rio

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. A beautiful peaceful place surrounded by stunning nature. The property is perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Our room was spotless, cozy and bed was comfortable. Loved everything about Hortas do Rio - calm atmosphere, beautiful design, amazing breakfast, and super kind hosts. Highly recommend!

Very idyllic place to stay!! The rooms were gorgeous, the bed super comfortable, the breakfast was huge and delicious and the hospitality was above and beyond. This place has thought of all the little details to make your stay perfect. We enjoyed a campfire one night and the pool/loungers many times throughout our stay. There are some really good restaurants in Carrapatiera too - and the beaches nearby are endless. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here one night while on a 5 day hike with Live, Love, Hike. Super staff were welcoming and very helpful when it came to finding our luggage that had been delivered to another hotel by the transfer company. Excellent place to stay for one or many nights.
