Herdade Amália Rodrigues

My family had an amazing experience at Herdade Amalia Rodrigues! The property was unlike any place I've been to before. Acres of coastline overlooking the Atlantic with a private beach. A gorgeous pool on top of a cliff with plenty of patio seating. A mid-century modern home with touches of authentic Portugal. It was a true hidden treasure. Felipe and his team were so wonderful! They gave us the best recommendations for local restaurants, beaches, and sights. Each of them were so kind and helpful, consistently going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the homes owner, Amalia Rodrigues, the Queen of Fado (Portuguese music). This element add some rich history to our trip. The location was 2hrs South of Lisbon and 1hr North of the Algarve making day trips across the coast spectacular. This spot truly made our trip.

This is the second time my husband and I have had the pleasure of visiting Amalia’s Paradise, and each stay has left us longing to return. Antonio, the host, is truly exceptional—his warmth, passion, and genuine care for his guests make every moment unforgettable. The love he pours into his work is evident in every detail, especially in his incredible cuisine, which has a unique, home-cooked quality that transports you to a place of comfort and delight. Antonio has a gift for creating a beautiful atmosphere that feels like a true escape. His stories, kindness, and attentive hosting make you feel like you are staying with a friend. We already cannot wait to return to this magical place to experience once more the beauty and tranquility Antonio and his Team effortlessly curate. Thank you for making Amalia’s Paradise a haven we will always treasure. See you soon 🤗
