Hotel Gruberhof Igls-Innsbruck - Bed & Breakfast

Very authentic Tirol style hotel. The staff here was extremely nice and helpful and made the hotel feel a little bit more lively. The location Is a 5 minute walk from the bus station, which takes you into Innsbruck, but beware if you have luggage, you’ll have to push it up a small hill. The hotel is located by many forest trails and only a 10 minute walk from the grocery store. The reason I rated my stay as three stars was because I received a room on the first floor overlooking the parking lot. Which unfortunately meant I could hear all cars come in and out. The size of the rooms were quite spacious which was nice, but unfortunately in my room, the heater did not work so well so I was cold the first night until the staff supplied me with a portable heater. Overall, the amount you pay for this hotel translates into its environment. But needless to say, I loved being able to walk in the nature all around the hotel.

Although the hotel is a bit dated it has its charm and you get a huge room in this price class which is well maintained and clean. The most quiet place without any traffic and close to Patscherkofel and free public transport taking you to Innsbruck in 10 min. Kind host and staff ready to help.

Amazing hotel for the value. We booked quite last minute after prior plans fell through n the checked in staff upgraded our room to the gorgeous mountain views. Room perfectly cleaned n location close to the bus stop to the city. Staff vry accommodating allowed us to hv extra half hour on check out time n thks to friendly Katherine helped us on taxi booking to the central train station. Highly recommended o Katherine
