What a welcome! Such warmth, sharing, and such emotion with Anne-Marie and "The Flower Man," who took such kind care of us all… The room is large and beautiful with views on all four sides (…including a truly impressive vegetable garden!). Dinner is available upon request and is absolutely delicious… Anne-Marie has more than one trick up her sleeve; her expertise shines through, and her jams are unforgettable… A truly charming place!

At the entrance to the small village of Planes, we stopped at the charming little house, Le Malaza, named after the mountain opposite. Its garden rivals that of Wanghoog, offering shaded parking for cars and motorcycles. The welcome is simple and genuine. Anne-Marie will greet you and settle you in for a few days, allowing you to explore the region with its hiking trails, local cheese producers, breweries, ski resort, and many other neighboring villages offering outdoor activities. The cuisine is traditional and home-style, featuring produce from the garden and local farmers, along with a few Catalan specialties and dishes she particularly enjoys, such as pasta with porcini mushrooms, soups, veal stew, homemade tarts, and crumbles. Open year-round, 7 days a week, the price is surprisingly reasonable: half-board, full board, wine (to be enjoyed in moderation), coffee, and breakfast are all under €40 per person. One room for 4 people: €20 per night and €5 per person for breakfast. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Recommended by the Routard team for motorhome owners, motorcyclists, cyclists, and hikers. MD

Charming hosts, a garden full of flowers, a spacious room with good bedding. You can't cook, plan to eat on the go or out. And a very reasonable price! I highly recommend it.
