Ferienalp: Weidhaus Zuckerweidli

An absolutely amazing place to stop for a snack right off the via Alpina trail. The family that owns this farm is very kind. Sorbet and jam were delicious. Hope to come back soon.

We had a wonderful and relaxing week's holiday at Zuckerweidli this summer. The peace and quiet, the idyllic view, the soothing waterfall in the background – simply unique. Admittedly, cooking on the wood-burning stove took some getting used to at first, but after that it was absolutely fantastic. Cooking on a wood-burning stove offers completely different possibilities than an electric stove. Meals at the outdoor seating area: priceless... ...and then there's the alpenglow – what a magnificent natural wonder! Those who haven't experienced it themselves can hardly imagine it... For those who do experience it, we wish you a wonderful and relaxing holiday!

The four of us spent a week at Zuckerweidli in early April 2024. It's a beautiful, large, and well-furnished house. You have complete privacy and can truly relax. Adelboden is a 45-minute walk away, and the view is magnificent. The hosts are incredibly friendly!
