Casina San Martín (Acogida de Peregrinos)

Without a doubt, it is one of the best albergues in the Camino. They open the doors of their own house and set the stage for you to experience community, connecting pilgrims from all over on a long table, ready to enjoy dinner and breakfast that is provided by them. Works with donations (even for the beers, sodas and wine available), and reservation is required. Phone them to secure your place/know availability. Location is good, some uphill before getting there but you are compensated by stunning views even from your room and a potential short walk to a sea viewpoint after dinner. Great as an alternative stop instead of Avilés, highly recommended! Thanks Maria/Germaine for being great hosts!
