Very nice chalet with beautiful views. Home made food, highly recommend fresh buttermilk. Perfect place for a rest and good lunch!

Good food and friendly staff. However, there is no quiet hours policy. Some of the staff seem to be a part of the late night partying, can be hard to get a decent sleep.

I've passed the Binsalm a few times and stopped there for an after hike beer. For this purpose it is a great place and it has okay food. This year me and some friends tried to stay overnight and that was not a good experience. The hut does not have a quiet hour policy, so there was a bachelor's party that went on until 3 a.m. Most guests were annoyed by this and whilst you might not be the one that minds a party, bare in mind that sleep and relaxation are not a guarantee at this hut. In addition, the Hot Pot sounds like a great idea, however, the water does not get changed between guests using it. We saw hikers get in it without using the showers in the hut first. We ended up taking the pot and enjoying it, but the water was filthy.
