Camping Le verger de Morlaix

What a lovely little site. Owners were really great and gave lots of information on getting to Morlaix. New toilet and shower block excellent, very clean and I’m thinking they are still a work in progress as toilets are unisex and the men’s urinals are very visible when entering. They seem to be doing another one out. Apples everywhere that we could pick. My only complaint was water to wash dishes was cold. Would return

Arrived by e-bike without a reservation. Could not have been treated better by the owner, who checked us in and showed us around with obvious pride in his campground. Great facilities, including numerous sites with electric hookups. The showers/toilets were modern, clean, and had plentiful hot water. There were two picnic tables in a covered area for dining, which was handy as we were rained on in the morning prior to departure. If you don’t need electric on site, there were maybe ten or twelve plugs in the picnic table area to charge cell phones and personal electronics. He also has a small shop with snacks on site but only open during lunch he posted hours. The site also has a clothes line and clips for hanging dry your bike clothes and towels, and an ample dishwashing station. Washer/dryer also available All in all..just a great site and a really pleasant stay. Mostly tent pitches but there were a few small campers here as well. The site appears popular with cyclists and is located just a few hundred meters from eurovelo 1 and a kilometer or two from eurovelo 4 The site is only a kilometer or two from town but on bike it is quite a climb up from the city center..maybe 150 meters vertical. Just keep that in mind when you head down for drinks and then have to make the trek back up the hill.

Excellent and cost effective setup for lightweight campers. A bit of a climb out of Morlaix if you're cycling or walking, although not too bad from the industrial park.
