Casa das Memórias

Amazing host, super nice and talkative, really intertesting stroryteller! The room we stayed was perfect, super clean, confortable and with AC, perfect for the torrid summer weather of the region. The whole house was super clean, well equipped and even had a lot of food in the you could buy directly from the host with a simple message with what you had taken or eaten. Its near historical Tomar, and some beautiful river beaches and in the path of one of the Caminos of santiago. So pilgrims will have a nice place to rest properly.

Casa das Memorias is a delightful place to stay. It is the childhood home of Antonio, the owner. What a lovely man! Make sure you ask him for a history lesson (he used to be a teacher). We stayed after Independence Day, and he was a wealth of knowledge about the fifty years leading to that day. He has stocked the kitchen with meals and drinks which can be purchased for a small cost. There is a roof top deck to enjoy the sun and room were very comfortable. He even dropped of my pack in Tomar the next day. Thankyou Antonio for an excellent stay.

We stayed at Casa das Memorias last night (7/16/24) and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed on Camino, and this is our 2nd Camino. (SJPP to Santiago last year). Childhood home of the owner. All rooms were very clean with A/C. Had everything we could want and more, including a family room to hang out in. We were going to go to town for food, but Antonio has lots of food and drinks at amazing prices 0.6€ for a beer. We would stay again. It was €52 for two. Do not miss if you’re in the area.
