If you’re looking for beauty and solitude, this is the place. It’s a beautiful old hotel with lovely grounds and gardens. It is a perfect event location. The staff was kind to let us check in early and they keep a low profile between checking you in and breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was the best we’ve had with fresh baked bread and fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham, cereals, nuts, coffee and juice, etc. The only minor issue is the air doesn’t circulate well and the room was a bit hot. A fan would probably help. Mosquitoes are numerous so having some repellent would be a good idea.

This place is lovely. The rooms are large and well appointed. The whole hotel is great. Magnificent grounds. 100 years old Sequoia and Wisteria plus other magnificent trees. The common areas are fabulous. The hosts are excellent. Highly recommend, wish we could stay longer, but we are walking the Camino.
Nadinester
The staff here are very friendly and helpful, there is a very big garden outside with a lot of space to let a dog run loose. The only downside to it is that there isn’t much near and there isn’t any air conditioning. But overall it is very nice and I would come back another time
