Old Croft House

What a fantastic welcome we had with tea and cake in our lovely room. Perfectly located in the heart of town, a lovely old house and the most helpful and charming hosts in Nick and Rachel, this was easily our favourite stay in the coast to coast.

We recently stayed at The Old Croft House as a stop on our Coast-to-Coast hiking trip and enjoyed it immensely. Nick and Rachel are warm, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the House itself is lovely and beautifully decorated with many eclectic, personal touches; and the breakfast and box lunches were plentiful and delicious. However, it was the little things - epsom salts in the bathroom for our weary hiker legs and the best homemade flapjacks on our travels - that made it extra special. Thank-you Nick and Rachel!

What a fantastic find in a lovely location. Everything was perfect and the hosts could not have done more to make our stay, which was to attend a wedding, enjoyable and stress free. Fantastic breakfast and so many good eating/drinking places in easy walking distance. Thanks for having us. 😀
