A very pleasant stay indeed. Gary & Donna (including the team and especially Emma) are welcoming and make time for everyone. Expect high standards and strong attention to detail - the house is immaculate and tastefully presented. Dining in is highly recommended and good value compared to elsewhere. The location for us was ideal: easy access to walks and hikes around Keswick, Buttermere and Newlands Valley. A lovely place to stay - you won’t be disappointed.

We have stayed at Hazel Bank several times and have never been disappointed.Gary , Donna and their staff are most welcoming. The food is fabulous,the rooms great and the hotel setting is idyllic. Can't wait to return.

A lovely large house in quiet Borrowdale. Service was excellent. Rooms excellent Evening meal, 5 courses, excellent. Breakfast was excellent in a lovely dining room. Large lounge to relax in. The gardens are large with lovely views. Parking very easy. A good bus service from the end of the drive.
