Hotel Vianorte

This hotel is officially rated as a 3-star property, but the overall experience falls far below that standard. The staff were consistently rude and unprofessional. Different employees provided contradictory information, and rules seemed to be improvised depending on who was on duty, which created confusion and unnecessary stress. Communication was poor and lacked basic courtesy. I was also charged incorrectly for breakfast. The menu clearly states a price of €7.50, yet the following day I was charged €15 without any explanation or justification. When questioned, no clear or consistent answer was provided. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was unacceptable, and there were signs of bed bugs, which is a serious health and hygiene concern. The windows are not soundproof at all, making it extremely difficult to sleep at night due to noise. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was unreliable and often not working. The bar and restaurant are overpriced and do not match the quality or service expected. Overall, the facilities feel outdated, and the hotel does not appear to be properly renovated or cared for. In summary, this was a very disappointing experience. Considering the poor service, lack of cleanliness, noise issues, and unjustified charges, this hotel does not offer good value for money. I would not recommend it.

I am an International athlete and came to Maia for a training camp. We reserved this hotel via phone call. But upon arrival , the rooms never resembled the images we saw in Google. The air conditioning was not working at all and it is really hot in Maia right now. The hotel was undergoing maintenance, which we completely respect , but the room we got was really bad for the amount we paid. We couldn’t check out the rooms before the payment as they informed us that the rooms were completely booked out. We had to look for another hotel immediately and we requested for refund for the booking but the hotel is reluctant to do it. The staffs were polite but this was not expected from the hotel administration.

Its a beautiful and quaint hotel with a beautiful pool. Its a lovely place on a sunny day. Only downside is connectivity to public transport, you need to walk for 20-25 mins to nearest metro. I would totally recommend it.
