Hostel Bohinj

I had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we checked in, they spent around 30 minutes chatting with us and even offered us their homemade blueberry fruit liqueur — it was delicious! The next day, we unfortunately got a parking ticket, but the hosts were so kind to help us handle it. We gave them the cash and they paid it for us, saving us the trouble of going to the bank. I’m truly thankful for their help. They are such a sweet and lovely couple! This was my first visit to Slovenia, and thanks to them, it’s a memory I’ll always cherish. The guesthouse itself is great too — clean, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a peaceful, quiet environment. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The two nights I stayed here with my mother was definitely one of the best hostel experienced I've ever made, if not the best. From the first moment (communication with the host via AirBnB - welcoming message from the host at the front door because they were out as we arrived), we felt just like at home. The hostel itself has a modern interieur and is traditional at the same time with its wooden architecture, you immediately breath in the good atmosphere here, which stems also from the very kind hosts and their obligingness. The beds were so comfortable as the bathroom, toilet and kitchen were clean, our room was spacy and silent and we even had our own washing basin - so, to put it short, we had some marvellous 48 hours here and I hope, with the bottom of my heart, that I find my way back to this place in the next summer... but this time for a week or two to discover everything of this amazing area in the Triglav national park and its beautiful scenery and people. A big thanks to our very heartwarming hosts once again, it was a genuine pleasure to reside in your hostel for this short but impressive time. We wish you all the best for the future and see ya again, hopefully, next year!

They were very accommodating! Even though I had a brain freeze and booked the wrong week, we got a room and could cancel the reservation for free. On the last day we even could arrange for a flexible check out. Everything was very clean and the location allows reaching several hiking trails. The owners are really friendly people and up for a chat.
