Viking Spa has tidy, practical rooms with basic equipment, more than good enough for few days stay, nothing fancy, but bathrooms could be slightly better for getting my higher grading. Breakfast was sufficient, they could maybe serve a bit wider selection of fruit etc. to have a bit more fresh offering. The real value of this hotel is of course the spato which I could give maybe 4.2-4.5 stars especially for the saunas. I know spas where they charge extra for sauna areas or spas with many pools and slides, but only limited amount of saunas, Viking Spa has cold/freezing room and salt sauna as specialities (unfortunately they were under renovation on Feb 2026), but based on my previous visit they were definately wortg visit. Nor sure if best for smaller kids, but for adults, pairs and families with perhaps slightly older kids who aren't desperately after water slides this is a nice spa. Not too big though and if they had even a short normal pool suitable for diving the place would be even better. On roof they have that extra hot sauna which was of course our teenagers' favourite. All in all I'll definately visit again as the salt sauna was my favourite and haven't seen those elsewhere.

We didn’t stay in the hotel, but thoroughly enjoyed our time in the sauna. It was a very family-friendly place that is enjoyable for adults and children alike. The changing and locker room area was spacious and clean, as was the shower area. The inside of the spa area is cleverly designed to feel like you are walking, or floating, through a cavelike atmosphere. Behind each wall pillar area is a tucked away sauna, shower, or tub to enjoy, and in the center of it all is a pool. I particularly enjoyed relaxing in a hot wet sauna before going to cool off in the snow sauna, as well as the salt and aromatherapy rooms. The pool was great to swim in, as well as to enjoy the different areas with jets and overhead waterfall features, and the kids had a great time in the pool as well. There is also a small bar where we were able to have some tasty milkshakes between exploring all the sauna had to offer. It’s conveniently located to ample parking and other sites in Pärnu. Overall, a great evening to enjoy and relax!

What I loved about the hotel: - Clean room with a TV, a small fridge, towels and bathrobes. - Vending machine with water and basic snacks. - Spa area with many different saunas, a bar, and a medium-sized pool a streaming river section. - Breakfast buffet for all guests; lunch and dinner is buffet-style for people entitled to that, while the main option is the lobby bar. I could order dinner buffet access at the reception, and that was paid for when checking out. Delicious food overall, especially the tender meat and duck. - A small library is also found. The downsides I found: - The spa area is designed like a labyrinth, and it is also strange that men and women share changing room, even with cabins available. - The air in the spa was too cold, and I think it was the reason I caught a cold during my stay.
