Frühstückshotel Margret

Frühstückshotel Margret was a wonderful discovery for an off-season stay. This is a charming family-run hotel owned by the same family since the 1980s, and the personal care shows in every detail. The owners prepare the breakfast themselves, brew aromatic Americano, and serve it in Villeroy & Boch cups. Breakfast was excellent — especially the scrambled eggs, fresh natural yogurt, and a great selection of delicious locally made jams. Despite its long history, the hotel is in very good condition. The rooms feel fresh and cozy; we stayed in a room with a view of Achensee lake and had a truly relaxing time. Good soundproofing, stable internet, parking, and strong water pressure made the stay very comfortable. There is also a well-maintained sauna area — not very large, but clean and pleasant — with a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, and a relaxation room. Convenient location for trips by car to the Zillertal resorts and Hintertux Glacier. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Amazing and atmospheric hotel, where you can feel the warmth in every corner. My little son and I felt like home, we were very comfortable. It was an amazing experience. If we come to Maurach again, then only to this hotel!
