Maladaire Campground

This campground was a lovely spot for our two-night stay while visiting the Lake Geneva area. The location is excellent, offering superb views of the lake, and the proximity to the shore makes it feel almost like a beach campsite. Here are the key points from our experience: View and Location: The site provides excellent lake views and is very close to the water, offering a beautiful "beach-like" setting. Facilities: The washrooms and toilets were good and had toilet paper supplied (bring your own body wash). Note that only two showers and WCs were open during our stay (likely due to the shoulder season), but we experienced no waiting or issues. Amenities: There is no communal kitchen, but we successfully used our portable gas stove, and the dishwashing facility was helpful. The WiFi was good. Access: Locating the site during the last mile of the drive can be slightly tricky, so pay close attention to the instructions provided in the confirmation email. We did not notice any entry time restrictions for vehicles.

Such a dreamy location: the lake is breathtaking with its super clear water. There’s even a small beach-like area with outside shower. The restaurant serves great food, but definitely on the pricey side. Though sitting at a bistro table right next to the lake, eating cheese fondue and then getting in your tent under a bushy tree, is pretty magical. Yes, there’s noise and music, but if you know this and it’s not your vibe; just don’t go here. We loved the free, happy, vibes.

had a lovely and relaxing stay here for a couple nights :) the water was beautiful and the atmosphere was friendly, welcoming and relaxed. free wifi, free usage of cooking area, they had games, books, etc. warm showers (never had to wait for them, but we were also here off-season) all in all can only recommend, we loved it :) p.s. best for young adults, young couples or friends etc. probs not the best location for a family trip
