Posada Peña Casares

I booked on booking.com and arrived at the hotel less than 1 hour later. After finding the entrance, the door was closed, and there was no ring bell. I waited a bit but then decided to walk until the next hotel. I tried getting reimbursement but did not manage to, and the hotel didn't reply to my emails.

We stayed one night at this inn for an upcoming event, and it was truly wonderful. The owner was lovely, and the inn itself is charming. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, and it was easy to come and go as needed. It's a beautiful place to stay for a few days in Cantabria.

A very nice, family-friendly place. The woman is very kind and attentive to every detail. The room with the kitchenette even has a Tupperware box in case you need it—a nice touch. It's also equipped with all the necessary utensils. It's very nice and modern. There are mosquito nets, which are quite rare in the North, and even a fan. She welcomed us with breakfast of sobao, infusions, and coffee. A very pleasant stay, we would definitely return.
