Please hire someone who is able to run a restaurant. Perfect day and not half of the seats are occupied on the terrace, still we were unable to sit down to have a refreshment. Lady with the hat just running around without smallest intention to serve you, not even welcoming in. If you need a drink, just fill your bottle from the tap and leave.

We stayed for one night at the hotel, as it was directly on our hiking route; after an extremely long, hilly day and we arrived literally the minute the hotel restaurant closed but, the chef very kindly stayed on and cooked us warm food! The service was excellent, the food was lovely and room was both spacious and comfortable - we had mist but, I'm sure the views from our room/patio would have been very impressive.

We spent a really pleasant long lunch here to break up our walk along the Westweg. Really recommend it! Hearty and delicious meals and gorgeous cake. Warm, down-to-earth and courteous customer service. Staff really put the effort in, right down to the warmed up milk they served with our delicious bio and eco-friendly tea.
