Hotel A Curuxa

The place is well designed. The garden and the pool (smaller than expected) are making a welcoming impression. However, the rooms are somewhat dark and relatively small. The paint on walls, doors and door frames shows some wear and tear. Air condition was broken (heat only). The mattress was slightly worn and had a bit of a dip. Also, the place is a bit off the beaten path. Which helps with it being quiet, but not that easy to reach by foot. Considering the above, I found the price rather ambitious.

It’s a pretty location. Removed so eat dinner across the street. It’s the best option. The major highlight of this nights stay was their massage therapist. She was pure magic! You must get one if you are on Camino and staying here. The patios on our rooms were super cute. Room was clean. Property cared for.

Would not recommend! Sells themselves as a ‘wellness’ hotel but you’re charged extra for any type of wellness facility (hot tub/ sauna etc)! The receptionist is also never around so feels like a creepy ghost hotel. I’ve stayed in cheaper places that were a lot better! Rooms were also quite dirty which was really disappointing. Try somewhere closer to town instead of here and don’t waste your money!
