GuestHouse VITA

We absolutely loved our stay at GuestHouse VITA in Cerem! The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The host prepared amazing homemade food for both dinner and breakfast — selfmade cheese, butter, olives, jam, vegetables from the garden, and so much more. The portions were huge, and everything was delicious! The warm fireplace in the common room made the atmosphere even cozier. We stayed in one of the new wooden cabins outside, which was modern, comfortable, and had hot water. It might not be the cheapest option in Cerem, but it offers the best value for money — and it’s refreshingly authentic, without the pushy roadside offers you find elsewhere. One of the best places we stayed on the Peaks of the Balkans!

We absolutely loved our stay with Tatiana and family. Hands down our favourite guesthouse on the trail! After seven days on the trail, we were in much need of a rest day and Tatiana and her family warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. The A-frame rooms were a real treat, luxuriously fitted with super comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. As for the food, best dinner (including delicious dessert!) and breakfast on the trail! Thank you, Tatiana. We hope to be back one day!

Stunning location in the valley. Tatiana is such a generous host and the food is delicious including fresh honey from the bees at the bottom of the garden. Really loved the communal eating together with all the other hikers - great camaraderie!
