The food is very good, not the highest class but very tasty. Especially when compared to the prices. The staff are always nice and they work very hard to keep everyone happy. The location is great with a large terrace, kissed by the sun but cooled with a soft breeze. 🌞 We spent a little over 30€ a person but that included a lot of drinks so if on a budget you can even stay under 20.

we paid 41€ (two adults and two children) to stay on a piece of grass in front of the campsite, with our VW transporter, for a single night. the price was without electricity. The only kitchen facilities we could find were two sinks with lukewarm water, in front of the toilet building. Bathing conditions are also bad, even with lukewarm water. There was no soap at the sinks, in the toilets. Overall, way too expensive, for such poor conditions. Furthermore, no introduction to the site on arrival.

Mostly nice campsite but bring cash for payment!!! The canyoning was amazing and the canyoning staff were really friendly. We also stayed at the campsite in a tent in August. It's a nice location near to a beautiful river. There is limited shade available but otherwise the site is flat and grassy. Toliets and showers were clean. The electricity had been run out to where we were using multiple extension leads so it was very unreliable and kept cutting out any time someone using the same extension lead as us tried to use too much power (i.e. boil a kettle). Also there was one male and one female toilet which was a somewhat reasonable distance away. Otherwise the proper toilet / shower block was 200m away. The male showers seemed to not work properly and struggled with hot water. However, we stayed during peak season and I appreciate it's probably quieter and therefore better the rest of the year so my partner and I were prepared to overlook everything else. Except the check out process was the worst and most frustrating experience we have had at a campsite. I was told firstly that if our debit card was a UK bank account there would be a surcharge of around €7. I said that's fine we don't have a UK bank account. They then added the surcharge anyway and when I queried this was told that all card payments have the surcharge (regardless of which country the bank account is). Apparently this is standard across Austria but we hadn't encountered it before. So we then had to go and get cash out to pay from a supermarket. When we came back the price they tried to charge me was again different from what was originally quoted so I had to argue with them to get it back down to the original price. We're not actually from the UK but speak English so I think they just assumed we were English as they kept referring to our UK bank accounts that we don't have. When speaking to another couple who are from England they had been told that it was cash only and there was no option to pay with card. So not sure what the deal was with that. Had we been told cash only from the start this would have been absolutely fine but unfortunately the constantly changing stories and then having to drive away to get cash all while we were trying to check out just spoilt our stay at this campsite.
