Milarrochy Bay Camping and Caravanning Club Site

I can’t tell you how much I love this place. We’ve been a few times and on our recent visit we weren’t disappointed. Perfect view, lovely neighbours and staff. Great facilities to wash and perfect loch side access. There’s a jetty and nice bits to sit. The only issue with anywhere in Scotland, especially near water, is the midges so come prepared!! If you get good weather you’re in heaven! Again, the staff were lovely and helpful.

Places are so often about the people you meet at them and the team at Loch Lomond are the perfect example of how those working in the tourist business should behave. Think; warm, genuine, willing and courteous. There’s a lovely, take-your-time relaxed atmosphere about the site which sets the mood for your stay. If only the staff here could teach those working at some of the other sites we visit! The location is convenient for the loch as well as some memorable walks. A visit to Balmaha should not be missed, delightful cafe, shop and hotel where, once again, the service is outstanding.

Lovely site, well kept and friendly staff. Right next to the loch, it's great for swimming and paddleboarding. Just remember, the midges are on steroids in this neck of woods, and if the conditions are right for them, they'll make your life hell 🤣. Definitely recommend it, and I will be back
