Porth Iago

The most beautiful beach and camping area is in Porth Iago. The campground is so clean, the toilets and baths are immaculate.There is a cafe on the site where you can buy food and drinks.The food is so delicious and is not pricey at all. You can enjoy the beautiful view and spend the best day with friends and family on the beach or just walking around exploring.

Arrived at Porth iago campsite and was immediately blown away with the views we managed to get a spot over looking the private beach which was just stunning waking up to that view every morning. The weather was amazing just like being abroad we went swimming in the sea and kayaking in the crystal clear waters on what was a very calm tide. We was extremely lucky even managed to see several pods of dolphins . The onsite cafe area had a great choice of foods for breakfast and lunch at a reasonable price. The owner was very attentive we chatted with him . The services shower block and toilet was immaculate it was £1 coin for 5 minutes in the shower . I wasn't aware of this until I quede up for the shower had to go get some coins having not been before. I would have given this review 5 stars but their was only 2 showers in total and 4 toilets . If it had more showers I would have given 5 stars hands down . We had no electric hook up and we was fine with being off grid . However we did notice there was electric hook up but not sure who it was for or how much it was but we wouldn't have woke up to the most amazing views if we went electric hook up. Quite steap to get up and down to the beach but it was worth it great for sea fishing , paddle boarding, kayaking and going for a dip or just soaking up the sun. Some lovely coastal walks off of this site we definitely can't wait to go back loved it

Stunning views and sun sets. Site is very clean and chris is very helpful. The new cafe which was put in november last year is a great attribute to the site. Open 8 am till around 8pm. Ther are 2 showers and 2 toilets All immaculate. Pot wash station & elsan + grey waste point. Fresh water tap near toilet block. There is a pay station as you enter the farm but best phone ahead for availabiliy. The walks along the coastal path are breath taking and if going to the left hand side path you will come across a stunning beach with cafe at the far end.
