After a long and nerve racking drive over the Mt Cenis we climbed back up a nearby hilltop overlooking Susa and met a very kind and considerate hostess. The room is a rustic but charming stone walled chamber with a private bathroom. After a good sleep in an absolutely quiet countryside we helped ourselves to self serve breakfast and carried onwards. Definitely recommend for a no frills, charming and quiet stay if you don’t mind being 5 min away from Susa. We were so happy we hadn’t stayed in the town as the local fiesta was on with live music pounding from several streets.
