Albergo Ristorante Pizzeria La Foresta 3 Stelle

Restaurant review only, visited the place for food twice as staying on a nearby hotel. This was the best pizza I had in my life, I will eventually come back just to taste that dough again 😍

After 20 minutes waiting for sevice we were told no pizza, just pasta. Gracie. Edit: the comment is not true. We were seated by a stuff, 10 minutes later we got menu with no comments, and another 10 minutes we wanted to order and got info about pizza. Maybe would not happen if the waiter was not busy talking to his Italian friends at the table in front of the kitchen, googling information for them on the phone and chatting.

I stayed here with my husband for a weekend while touring the Casentino Forests with a WWF guide. The rooms are simply done up, comfortable and very clean - perfect for a stay while trekking and visiting the surrounding areas. The restaurant serves excellent dishes and has an incredible selection of fine wines ably selected by the owner who is a wine connoisseur. The location is excellent and the owner is always at hand to help with anything one may need with a smile ☺️ Thank you for your hospitality!
