We had a lovely stay at The Godolphin. A comfortable room with iconic views of St Michael's Mount. A good coffee machine and complementary water etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good but the avo on my wife's breakfast was too hard to eat and we would have liked fresh fruit. The restaurant itself is bright, airy with relaxed vibes. Overall, a great stay and we'll be back.

A great welcome from the bar staff and gent at the front desk. Cocktails to die for and a comprehensive selection of wine. We were eating there and not staying in the hotel. The food choices were very good and there was also a valentines menu. This was the menu we chose. We chose a sharing option as it was our valentines evening. We got 3 small fish cakes for starter which was a strange number between two on sharing menu but that aside it was very tasty. The main course was a vast selection of various seafood. It was a wonderful selection but unfortunately a couple of the dishes were not too hot. Not wishing to make too much of a fuss because we were enjoying the evening we still ate the meal. I can’t tell you how much the staff were so helpful because they really were. The only reason I’ve marked it down from five stars is because of the slightly cold food. The desert was very tasty too! But if I could’ve given 4 1/2 stars I would have. We are locals and use this facility quite a bit and generally it’s a great experience. Hopefully we will be back soon for some wonderful cocktails!

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the Hotel Manager like old friends. We felt at home already - and this continued throughout our stay. The staff could not do enough to help and go out of their way to check that everything was okay. We had a fantastic room (the Jubilee Suite), which was spacious, absolutely spotless and with a lovely balcony overlooking the Mount. As we stayed on a Sunday, the meal in the evening included a choice of roasts, although there were other options available from the main menu. Breakfast consisted of cereals, yoghurt, croissants, toast, preserves, grapes and delicious high quality fruit juices. All this was while you waited for your cooked breakfast to be made, of which there were many choices. You could not fault the food in any way. We only live 20 minutes away in Camborne, but will not hesitate to stay again in the very near future. Thank you.
