one star for the good food and another for the fiev but if u not sleeping there dont go there. the seats in front of the window are reserved for the hotel guests and with the wifi its the same. if u dont sleep there dont go there. a very nice alternative is švycarna.

The hotel and a restaurant in a radio tower with the highest altitude point in the Czechia. The restaurant itself is what you would expect at an old brutalist building in the prominent place like this: Overpriced (a not-very-good draft Holba for 70 CZK/3 EUR), over-touristed during the main seasons, featuring communist-era interiors and Czech unhealthy cuisine (fried cheese, goulash with dumplings, etc.). However, the nice positive surprise was a breakfast served for the hotel guests. Quite a good and wide selection of various breakfast items in a buffet format, including fresh sunny-side up eggs, sausages, coffee, cereal, bread and many more. But staying at the hotel is a completely different experience. First of all, it's suspiciously well-priced, because the stay includes a permit to drive up your vehicle (very limited and expensive due to the protection laws), visit to the observatory part of the tower for two (77m) and a buffet breakfast. The hotel itself is quite basic, but overall clean and has everything you may need for one or two nights. Plus, it has got the best thing: Unrestricted spectacular views from the highest mountain of the Moravia. On a beautiful day, that's a beauty you will remember forever. Keep in mind 5 rooms face the West and 5 rooms face the East, so if you prefer one over the other, request it when booking the rooms. I personally went out to watch the sunset and the sunrise and despite the fact it was windy and 3°C (in the middle of summer), I just loved it. The only downside is that the weather up here can be quite unpredictable, and you need to book way in advance due to the popularity and the limited number of only 10 rooms. And the most popular dates (weekends and holidays) are usually completely booked out months in advance. Plus, forget about taking your vehicle up to the tower during winter (however, they do provide their own transport). All in all, I would highly recommend to stay at least one night with good weather once in a lifetime :)!

There is a great view of the surrounding country/hills as long as there is a good weather. Praded is also a good start for hiking tours. It is possible to borrow scooters for a downhill ride The disadvantage is that there can be quite many tourists throughout the day. Also remember that the weather can change quickly - clouds are passing diretly over the summit of Praded, so sunny weather can change into thick fog in the matter of minutes.
