Nice location at a quiet spot. Room is simple yet very clean for budget travelers. Nice walking distance to Oeschinensee cable car station and to the Kandersteg train station. The breakfast is quite abundant with good selection of food, nice breads, yummy yogurt, cheese and hams, and fresh veggy.

Best bang for your buck. Good, cheap and nice. Nice breakfast, warm rooms, cozy beds, free parking available. It does not get better than that for this price.

Hotel Alpina was great for my 2 nights in Kandersteg. I stayed in the single room and it was more spacious then expected. The bed was comfy, however I would have loved another pillow as the one provided wasn’t really good. I loved having a balcony. Being an older building you could hear people in other rooms, however didn’t have any issues late at night. They also did a really good breakfast.
