Agriturismo Bagnaia

Perfect place with a perfect host. Giovanna was very hospitable and spoke english perfectly well. She went out of her way to give us information about the places we wanted to visit and even gave us free wine. We will definitely come back again next time..

Agriturismo Bagnaia is for me heaven on earth. First, the views are out of this world. The sunsets you can see from this podere are some of the best in Val D'Orcia. Second, the hosts are so nice and friendly. You feel like at home, with Giovanna making sure you have everything you need. The icing on the cake was for us wine tasting, which was an unforgettable experience. The rooms and apartments are also very comfortable and spacious. Even though it was warm in July in San Quirico, it was actually pleasant to stay inside the traditional Tuscan houses you will find in the Agriturismo. The whole place is also very clean, kept in perfect order. So one of the the most remarkable things about this stay was that after visiting all those beautiful places in Tuscany, coming back to Bagnaia was an attraction in itself. Finally, the location is amazing. The Agriturismo is placed among the Tuscan hills and yet it's close to San Quirico D'Orcia, a little gem, I feel very underrated, and close to most famous Tuscan vantage points and to towns such as Pienza or Montalcino. Remarkable place, unforgettable experience.

We had a wine tasting with Giovanna and it was lovely. She prepared local food like ham, salami and cheese and showed us the vineyards as well as the whole production area. The wines all were very good but the best part was how welcoming and friendly Giovanna was. The agriturismo itself was very beautiful as well!
