Hôtel de Ville

The hotel is nice, especially for the price. It’s very clean, charming, and the staff is extremely kind. They were able to give me my room well before check-in time. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the train station, which was very convenient for my visit to the Château-d’Oex Balloon Festival. They also have a decent restaurant at the hotel. I recommend trying the white hot wine. And breakfast is very cute.

I agree with the other customers who have noted the staff (an older blonde woman) was very rude. She acted like she hated serving me, on two separate occasions.

The Manager took one look at the slightly grubby and perspiring traveler before her. “No reservations” she said with distain.
