Sporthotel IGLS

We had an excellent experience at the Sporthotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional. We also had 2 nice dinners there. Hannibal was very attentive and helped us in any way possible! Overall a very nice stay!

We loved our mini stay at the Sporthotel. We arrived before mid day and could check in early. The staff at the hotel are so friendly. Breakfast is amazing and we had dinner one night which was also excellent. Pool and sauna are fab. We look forward to coming again. Can't recommend it enough.

The location, the room and the breakfast were great. However the heat pump for the indoor swimming pool was not working/broke down (we visited beginning of December) for the full duration of our stay (3 days), which means the water was pretty cold and basically unswimmable for most people's standards. Of course we did not have a thermometer but it must have been at best 15 degrees. Considering that this was one of the main criteria for us booking this hotel, this was pretty disapponting. On top of that, there was no mention of the issue during check-in while they were informing us about the pool hours - although the issue was known to them - as well as no apologetic reaction after asking them about it and showing them how we felt (always in a civilized manner of course).
